Mean, median, and mode — oh my! 📊🧠 Sixth grade math students flexed both their brains and their muscles 💪 in an interdisciplinary lesson that combined data collection with physical activity 🏃♀️📏. Through sprints 🏃♂️, broad jumps 🐸, wall sits 🧱, and free throws 🏀, students gathered valuable data they`ll analyze and interpret as part of their final summative project 🎓📈. Soon, students will learn the hidden stories behind the numbers! 🔍✨

On April 23–24, the Anchored4Life Leadership Club proudly hosted its annual service project—a fun-filled snack sale and mini-games carnival! 🎪🎈🏹🎳🍪 Thanks to the incredible generosity and spirit of our amazing community, the A4L Club raised a grant total of 600,000 KRW!
All proceeds will be donated to the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR) to help provide vital emergency relief for refugees around the world.
Through the A4L Club, our students are not only building leadership skills—they`re growing into compassionate global citizens who uplift the BFS community and create meaningful change far beyond our campus. Well done, Sharks! 👏🦈

We were proud to celebrate our diverse community through performances, a parade, delicious food from around the world, cultural activities, and games for all ages! Today we celebrated Purple Up Day! Students and faculty wore purple representing all branches of the US military to show unity with each other. Our US military students move frequently and may have a parent that is deployed. At the Elementary SLO assembly, Grade 5 students shared about the importance of showing respect for our military students. Throughout lunch time, our partners from the US Naval Base at Jinhae gave out ice cream, ribbons, and bracelets. BFS is proud to serve US military families, and we thank our military children for their strength and sacrifices.💜
