At BFS, we emphasize the importance of regular exercise for a healthy lifestyle. Offering competitive sports throughout the school year to all students, regardless of skill level, we promote teamwork, leadership, and healthy competition. Participation in sports also teaches time management and often correlates with academic excellence.

Our Partners

Seven schools represent the South Korea Activities Conference (SKAC). Sporting events consist of cross-country running, volleyball, basketball, soccer, and track and field. Most SKAC sporting events have two big tournaments hosted by the schools within SKAC. In addition, SKAC schools often schedule one-on-one competitions with each other.

BFS also participates in KISAC (Korean International Schools Activities Conference). The KISAC members come from the entire peninsula and bring the league to a different level. Our middle and high school students participate in tournaments for volleyball, basketball, and soccer. The KISAC HS basketball tournaments typically take place in February with two major events, one in Jeju and the other in Busan.
