On September 18, the entire Busan Foreign School community came together for a special all-school assembly celebrating 30 years of BFS and recognizing the Haddon family, whose vision helped establish the school in 1996.
What began with just 16 students has grown into the vibrant international school community BFS is today.
Over the past three decades, nearly 3,000 students have passed through the doors of BFS, and more than 500 students have graduated from the school. Those graduates have gone on to build careers around the world as
Over the past 30 years, BFS graduates have gone on to careers in fields including:

But the story of BFS is about more than numbers, university acceptances, or accomplishments. For 30 years, the school has been a community where students from around the world have learned together, built lifelong friendships, and prepared for the next steps in their lives.
As BFS celebrates this important milestone, we are proud of how far the school has come, what our graduates have accomplished, and the community that continues to shape BFS today.
