At BFS, we emphasize the importance of regular exercise for a healthy lifestyle. Offering competitive sports throughout the school year to all students, regardless of skill level, we promote teamwork, leadership, and healthy competition. Participation in sports also teaches time management and often correlates with academic excellence.

Our Partners

BFS is one of six schools participating in the South Korea Association of International Schools (SKAIS) conference that offers interscholastic activities that provide students with opportunities to meet, develop friendships, share ideas, and compete in an inclusive and equitable environment. SKAIS events include Cross Country, Volleyball, Futsal, Basketball, STEM Fair, and Model UN.

BFS also participates in KISAC (Korean International Schools Activities Conference). The KISAC members come from the entire peninsula and bring the league to a different level. Our middle and high school students participate in tournaments for volleyball, basketball, and soccer. The KISAC HS basketball tournaments typically take place in February with two major events, one in Jeju and the other in Busan.
