At Busan Foreign School, our futsal and soccer teams demonstrated incredible dedication, growth, and sportsmanship throughout the season. From elementary to middle school, each player gave their all, showcasing the Sharks’ spirit on and off the field.

Elementary Futsal
Our Grades 3–5 futsal players practiced twice a week, honing their skills and bringing energy to every match. The Boys C Team stole the show at the invitational tournament, going undefeated and setting a high standard. The Girls Team celebrated hard-fought victories, building confidence for future competitions, while the Boys A & B Teams focused on teamwork, communication, and passing. A highlight of the season was the addition of Coach Moon, a member of our security staff, who brought fresh guidance and motivation. The season concluded on November 13th with an all-day tournament, where the players showcased their skills in sharp new uniforms. Though no trophies were won this year, the team’s camaraderie and determination promise an exciting future.

Middle School Boys Soccer
The middle school boys’ soccer team made tremendous progress, improving with every game and playing as a cohesive unit. Their season highlight came at the SKAIS tournament, where they secured 2nd place and scored an impressive 17 goals. Standout contributions included George M. as MVP for his leadership and playmaking, Yooan K. as Most Improved Player, Neel K. as Defensive Player of the Year, and Robin M. for his positivity and sportsmanship as Best Teammate. The boys’ energy and determination made this an unforgettable season.

Middle School Girls Soccer
The middle school girls’ soccer team had a memorable season filled with growth and resilience. They formed strong friendships, developed skills, and maintained positivity through victories and challenges alike. The team placed 4th in a tough KISAC group, battling hard and finishing strong in every match. Captain Michelle U. led the charge as MVP, running the field and creating pivotal plays. Liz R. anchored the defense with discipline, while Audrey L. kept spirits high with her encouragement. The girls’ unwavering determination and teamwork made BFS proud.
