Pie in the Sky, by Remy Lai, is a realistic fiction book in which a boy named Jingwen immigrated to Australia for the first time, making him face problems and struggle to learn a new language. Jingwen and his little brother, Yanghao enjoy making cakes together but don’t have the best relationship. Later on in the story, Jingwen reveals his past and why his father died. I rate this 4.5 out of 5 stars because of how it relates to other people with siblings, and also because of how the story goes. I recommend this book to people who like the book The Lion of Mars. So come on, why don’t you try reading this book?
