In celebration of International Women’s Day, the High School For Girls Club hosted a special “For Girls Hang Out” on March 12th!
The goal was simple: bring girls from different grades together to connect, have fun, and build new friendships. The students had a blast with slime making, face painting, and getting to know each other better.
When younger girls have older role models to look up to, it helps them grow in confidence and feel supported. We loved seeing these girls laugh, create, and encourage one another!

The BFS Math Up Club celebrated March 14 by spreading the love of math across campus with a fun and educational Pi Day Bingo. Middle School and High School students joined the excitement during lunch, filling out bingo boards with words and trivia related to the famous number π.
Along the way, students learned some interesting facts about pi. Did you know that π is an irrational number? Or that the ancient mathematician Archimedes made one of the earliest and most important calculations of its value?
Students who managed to complete two lines on their bingo boards were rewarded with tasty prizes, big bags of circular potato chips and, of course, delicious ChocoPies! 🍪
A big thank you to our Math Club representatives for organizing such a fun and educational Pi Day celebration. You helped make this year’s event a big success!

💻✨ BFS Students Inducted into Computer Science Honor Society
Busan Foreign School proudly welcomed new members into the Computer Science Honor Society (CSHS) — recognizing students who demonstrate excellence in computing, leadership, and responsible technology use.
CSHS students help lead BFS Hack Club, host coding workshops, and organize technology initiatives across campus. This year they also helped host BFS’s 24-hour student-led hackathon, bringing together students from schools across Busan to design and build original games.
The BFS team also earned 4th place in the international Codementum Coding Competition — an impressive achievement showcasing their skills and teamwork.

For the second time, Busan Foreign School proudly hosted the Hong Kong to Busan Friendship Concert, welcoming student musicians from The Independent Schools Foundation Academy (ISF Academy) of Hong Kong.
Students from both schools shared the stage for an incredible evening of strings, choir, and orchestra, celebrating the power of music to bring people together across cultures and borders.
