On Friday, October 13th, PTSO members learned first-hand about how Responsive Classroom is implemented at BFS. PTSO members participated in a Morning Meeting, the foundation of the Responsive Classroom approach, which ensures that all students feel welcomed into our purposeful learning community.
Mrs. Harvey, Vice Principal and Mrs. Sánchez Armstrong, PTSO President, led the group through a greeting, partner sharing, group activity, and morning message focused on school traditions.
It was a great way for parents to get to know each other better and to experience how their children are engaged in building classroom community at BFS.
