The Odyssey By Gareth Hinds

The Odyssey by Gareth Hinds
Mythical Fiction

The Odyssey by Gareth Hinds, brings to life a masterful blend of art and storytelling. Vivid and exciting, this graphic novel is a worthy new interpretation of Homer’s poems. These poems are adventure graphic novels that take place on the Greek isles. Odysseus is approximately 60 years old but still strong inside. He was gone for 20 years on the island of Ogygia in the hands of the nymph Calypso who kept him for her pleasure. He was a general at the siege of Troy and has a wife and a son. The story tells a tale of the misadventures of Odysseus who is trying to return home. This book is vivid and exciting with adventurous characters. I would recommend this book to people who read The Armor Of Achilles, King Of Ithaca, and The Gates Of Troy. I would rate this book four out of five stars because it shows silhouetted nudity and a lot of blood and gore.
