On Monday October 17th, Busan Foreign Schools’ sixth, seventh, and eighth graders had the opportunity of a lifetime and toured the USS Ronald Reagan, the world’s largest supercarrier. Originally stationed in Japan, the Reagan was in Busan for a few short days and BFS was able to take full advantage of the layover.

The BFS students were exceptionally well behaved and asked great questions about the carrier, and were able to experience walking on the flight deck, learning about helicopters and fighter jets, and learning about the mission of the USS Ronald Reagan.

The Naval personal were just as impressed with our polite, enthusiastic young students as our middle schoolers were of the supercarrier.

All in all it was a fantastic educational experience, and one that middle school won’t soon forget.
