Kristina The Girl King By Carolyn Meyer

Kristina The Girl King by Carolyn Meyer
Historical Fiction

Kristina The Girl King by Carolyn Meyer, brings to life a brilliant fusion of art and narrative. Vivid and exciting, this realistic fiction is worthy of a new interpretation of King Kristina. This story takes place in Circa (Sweden), 1638. Kristina is 13 years old, she is a Princess whose father died when she was 6 years old. By her father’s orders she must learn a prince’s education and become king of Sweden. The story tells a tale of the girl who doesn’t like being a girl and instead tries to ride a horse and do sports such as fencing like a boy. This book is vivid and exciting with awesome characters. I would recommend this book to people who read any books of the Royal Diaries. I would rate this book four out of five stars because sometimes it is sometimes boring and hard to follow, but has interesting plot twists and thoughts that creates the reader’s interest.
