The Middle School boys volleyball team hosted a small tournament over the weekend.

The KISJ Dragons from Jeju and the BIFS Bears provided some excellent competition last Friday and Saturday.
Those who attended saw some spirited play from all three teams!

BFS had their backs to the wall from the outset due to players having obligations elsewhere.  The A team competed Friday and Saturday morning, but once the brackets were set for the afternoon matches, they were unable to field a team. Players gave it their all though, especially Tae who broke his wrist because of his tenacious style of play.
The
KISJ Dragons earned the championship trophy defeating BIFS two games to one in the final round. It was a tightly fought and well-played match, going down to wire.

The BFS B team, however,  kept some hardware of its own as they won the B bracket.  After four matches, they earned the second seed. They squared off against the Dragons from KISJ for the B team title. The Sharks won the match in three games, proving that although dragons are feared in Game of Thrones, at BFS, they are just a stepping stone to the throne.

Both the A team and the B team would like to thank those who helped out during the duration of the tournament. They would also like to thank those who came to watch.
The volleyball season comes to a close this weekend, but not before the big tournament at BIFS this coming Saturday.  The A team will be ready to resurface as they get back some key players. Both the A and B teams hope to end the season with trophies. With hustle and determination, great things can happen.
Come on down to BIFS and support your hungry sharks.
