Dear Grade 5 Families,

Due to high absences related to Covid-19, the Grade 5 class will transition to virtual learning for the rest of this week from Tuesday, March 22 to Thursday, March 24. Friday, March 25 is a no school day for students due to Parent Teacher Conferences.

Today Grade 5 students will be sent home with an at-home rapid antigen test to be taken on Sunday, March 27th. Students should bring the test with their name, grade, and date written on it to school on Monday, March 28th. Students must hand over their tests before going to class.

While we hoped to maintain in-person learning, it is not possible for this class. Virtual learning takes place with a combination of in-person Zoom lessons and Seesaw assignments. Please check our virtual school elementary parent checklist for more information, and watch for messages from Mrs. Nelson.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Sincerely,

Ms. Lauren Harvey
