Dear BFS Parents,
Under the direction of the Korean Ministry of Education, we are extending the physical closure of our school until Friday, April 3rd.
We are committed both to your children’s safety and education.
We are appreciative of the extra efforts made by our students, teachers, and parents as we all “strive for excellence.”
I want to especially thank those parents who have taken the time to complete our online surveys.
This feedback helps BFS maintain its commitment to continuous improvement.
Your continued support and partnership during this challenging time are greatly appreciated.
We will be hosting another webinar on Friday, March 20th, at 10:30 AM to update parents on improvements we have made or will be making to support your children.
We will share the webinar link with you on Friday morning.
Starting on April 1, the school will make weekly decisions about how much longer to extend our virtual learning environment.
Each Wednesday from April 1 on we will announce how much longer the school building will remain closed to students.
Teachers, parents, and students will receive four days’ notice of the physical reopening of school.
Please note that any students who have traveled or are in a country with “Local Transmission” cannot return to school for 14 days after their return to Korea.
I look forward to speaking with you all on Friday, if you cannot make it, there will be details on how you can access the recording.
Warm Regards,
Iain Macfarlane
BFS Principal
