Percy Jackson, The Lightning Thief By Rick Riordan

Percy Jackson, The Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan
Fantasy and Adventure

Percy Jackson, by Rick Riordan, is a fantasy and adventure book about a boy named Percy Jackson who has a quest to clear his name to the Greek Gods of being accused of stealing Zeus’ weapon, the Masters Bolt. The main character, Percy Jackson is twelve and is a demi-god, meaning that he is half human and half god, and Percy is a son of Poseidon, I really like Percy’s relationship with Annabeth and Grover, it really shows that both of them are good friends because they help each other when things get really tough and hard, such as someone feeling sad and fighting for each other and making sacrifices. As Percy and his friends continue their journey they go to places where they get ambushed by Hades minions, one is that there was a snack shop and another one was the game hotel that skips time when it feels like a minute or so. The main thing the story was about was Percy’s quest on stealing back the Master’s bolt and to prove his innocence. Some things that kept me reading was that I just got interested in Greek Mythology and I like adventure and the plot. If you’re just interested in Greek mythology and adventure, I suggest you read this book.
