This year, and for the fourth consecutive one, BFS contributed to the community by participating at the 2015 Christmas BIWA Bazaar. We did this through the PTS,  the NHS, and our Elementary Choir. While PTSO donates part of its proceedings to the BIWA, NHS raised funds for its causes.

The chapter (NHS) was particularly well organized which showed in our earnings this year for Doctors Without Borders and KIVA micro loans. We have raised enough this year to make an additional micro-loan and are on our way to setting a fund raising record for the last four years.  And. . . several teachers from BIFS came over to compliment us on our students, their initiative, and public presence! Great job members!

Our PTSO parents represented our school very well. This year they hand made Christmas bracelet loops as well as little elves. Children were also able to play by throwing balls into a Snow Man and draw little ducks from the Duck tank to win prices. Everyone participating took home a little bag of candy … bring the Christmas Spirit home!!!

The BFS Elementary Choir put on a wonderful performance accompanied by Sean Fox at the piano while Oleg Kim, after only four months of saxophone training played two pieces together with Mr. Chapa. BFS’ Got Talent!
