Reading Workshop

Learning Objective: Students will be able to… Read with the purpose of creating discussion questions from what is read

Summary: Within our book clubs students will be reading to form discussion questions on their own and share them with their group to engage further with the reading.

Writing Workshop

Learning Objective: Students will be able to… reflect on their year in 4th grade and produce advice and encouragement to future fourth graders.

Summary: Students will be writing letters to the future fourth graders this week.

Math

Learning Objective: Students will be able to… use background knowledge of all we have learned this year to answer questions independently and in a group.

Summary: We will be doing a lot of review work in math as we close out the year. Mostly centering around using ALL of our math skills to reason and solve harder problems.

Social Studies / Science

Learning Objective: Students will be able to… work in a group to create a comprehensive science fair project

Summary: Students will be using the majority of our science time to work on their science fair projects.

Homework

Reading for 20 minutes a night (K5 – Gr5) is strongly recommended
